Men in White were contracted to restore a staircase in Stanmore.
The owners wanted to achieve a classic look with a sharp black and white contrast: with the railing and treads to be a dark wood stain, and the spindles and risers to be a semigloss white.
There was a lot of experimentation to get the right varnish colours.
The end result was stunning!
