Timber restoration – Rushcutters Bay

 In Restoration

MIW restored the timber work in a heritage Rushcutters Bay apartment (2015).

The Australian Walnut doors and architraves had faded and had uneven colour consistency. In addition, some of the doors were rehung on the opposite side of the frame, requiring repairs and filling.

We applied the wonderful Livos Kunos Oil in Natural with an tint of Walnut. The addition of tint varied depending on the different doors and fading.

We were able to restore the doors to a consistent rich finish.

The clients were delighted – and so were we!
