Timber door restoration – Glebe, Sydney
Men In White were tasked with restoring a set of aged and weathered Western Red, cedar doors attached to a house in Glebe, Sydney.
We sanded them all back and then applied two oil undercoats, and two finish coats of Aquanamel Semigloss, Jade Blue.
The client remarked that once the project was complete, it looked as if it was always painted.
The decision to paint was delayed for a concern over how it would look, however, once done, the client felt that it was the correct decision and was completely satisfied!
The stunning finished project.
Given a new lease of life with a solid paint coating.
An interior view of the completed project.
Work in progress of the interior.
Looking worse for wear and in serious need of some Men In White TLC.
